About CarShipCheck
CarShipCheck exists for one reason: shipping a car shouldn't require trusting a stranger on the internet.
Car shipping is a boring, everyday purchase that people only make once or twice in their lives, usually during a move, a snowbird season, a car sale, or a military relocation. The same complaints come up again and again: quotes that were never real, deposits that vanished, brokers posing as carriers, and companies that can't be found when something goes wrong.
Most of those problems can be caught in a few minutes using free public records from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Few people know where to look or how to read them. That's what we do.

What we don't do
We don't move cars, sell leads, or accept payment to change a company's facts. See our methodology and affiliate disclosure.
